Born with a natural inclination for education, Dionne pursued her academic journey, earning relevant degrees and the National Qualification for Senior Leadership to equip herself with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in teaching. Her journey in education has been marked by a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.
In her role as Assistant Head Teacher, Dionne wears many hats, overseeing various aspects of school life, from curriculum development to student welfare. Her leadership style is characterised by a balance of firmness and empathy, creating an environment where both students and staff thrive.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dionne finds immense joy and fulfilment in her role as a mother. Happily married, she is the proud mother of three wonderful children – two daughters and a son. Balancing the demands of her career with the responsibilities of motherhood, Dionne exemplifies resilience and dedication.

"The Fusion Project excites me and my reason for wanting to be a part of this innovative scheme is that it presents a unique opportunity for young people to explore and connect with their heritage. By participating in this project, individuals can delve into the rich and diverse cultural tapestry of Jamaica, gaining a deeper understanding of their roots. Joining the Fusion Project allows young participants to actively contribute to the preservation of Jamaican traditions. Through hands-on experiences, they can learn about traditional music, dance, cuisine, and customs, ensuring that these aspects of Jamaican heritage are passed down to future generations."
