With a Bachelor's degree in Media Communications and Society from Nottingham Trent university and a Master's degree in Education Policy and Society from King's College London University, Rachael possesses a deep understanding of the intersection between media, education, and societal development.
Rachael brings a wealth of experience in working with children and young people, spanning over five years in both Birmingham and London. Her passion for nurturing the next generation led her to roles within schools and community organizations, where she has made a meaningful impact on the lives of countless individuals.
Currently, Rachael is embarking on an exciting journey towards creating illustrated books for children. Combining her expertise in communication and education, she aspires to become a published author-illustrator, weaving captivating stories that not only entertain but also instill positive values and shape young minds. With a focus on sharing stories that truly matter, Rachael is dedicated to leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts and minds of people worldwide.
Reason for being involved in this project: "As a proud Jamaican diasporan, Rachael’s involvement in the Fusion Project stems from her belief in the importance of young people understanding their roots and cultural identity. She advocates for Jamaican heritage youth to embrace their heritage, recognizing its potential to positively influence their futures."
